Pro Tools is:

Our Pro- Tools based system uses the latest and greatest digidesign plug- ins as well as some of the best 3rd party plug-ins available.
Then it all runs glitch free on one of the most powerful computers known today, the Mac Pro
with 8 core processing utilizing dual wide screen displays.
We also feature the world famous Universal Audio PCIe cards and plug-ins which have been used on so many of today's top hits.

But, lets start at the very begining .......
pre-amps and mics.
We all know how important it is to use a well maintained and well tuned instrument for performing.
This is especially true when recording.
Obviously a well maintained Martin or Taylor acoustic guitar will tend to sound much better than an off-brand guitar of lesser quality.
Add a new set of strings and some talent to that equation and ….wow….....beautiful.
But that all means nothing when your recording if your pre amps and mics are not “top quality”.
Here at WCS we use only the "highest quality Mics and Pre Amps."
In addition to the Control 24's built in Focusrite pre amps we have some legendary external rack mount pre amps, compressors and other hardware.

CONTROL 24 Board
The digidesign CONTROL 24 board is designed to work seamlessly within ProTools and allows for unprecedented control of workflow.The features of this unit are far too involved to cover here but with it's built in Focusrite Pre-Amps and unbelievable automation the Control 24 takes Pro tools to a whole new level.
TD-20
Digital Drums
Here at WCS we maintain an impressive inventory of "top of the line" drum mics for recording acoustic drums "live". If you have an outstanding drum set then by all means lets mic them up and lay down some tracks;
however, if your set is "less than outstanding" or if you want access to an assortment of unbelievable drum sounds and unprecedented control over each and every drum then the Roland TD-20's might be an option. These bad boys are the "holy grail" of the digital drum world and open up all kinds of creative possibilities especially when used in conjunction with Superior Drummer.....simply amazing.
Neumann U87
The term "Vintage" gets thrown around pretty loosely these days as a code for "old" and "outdated" however sometimes the term "vintage" meaning; "of enduring quality" is correctly applied ...well this is one of those cases. The Neumann U87 is a highly coveted, extremely high end, studio mic, well known throughout the industry and used as the standard to which most other mics are measured against.
